About this policy
Charlie-Doku is a logic puzzle game for children ages 6 and up, adults, and families. This policy explains how the app and its advertising provider handle information. Contact madeusefulstudio@gmail.com with questions.
Your age choice
At first launch, we ask your age to select appropriate features and advertising. Your exact entry is used only on your device and is not saved. We save only an adult or child category locally. People under 18 receive free hints without full-screen rewarded ads. Adults can choose rewarded hint ads. The age category is used to configure advertising restrictions.
Game data saved on your device
Puzzle progress, square markings, hint balance, audio/haptic settings, age category, and photo/reveal rotation are saved locally. No account is needed. We do not operate a server that receives saved puzzle progress. Android backup may copy app data according to your device and Google account settings. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes the local copy; device backups are managed separately in Android.
Photos and permissions
The photos of Charlie are included in the app. We do not ask to access your camera, microphone, personal photos, contacts, or precise location.
Advertising and Google services
The app uses Google AdMob for banner advertisements and optional adult-only rewarded advertisements. Ads require internet access. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app and ad interactions, diagnostics, and device identifiers according to Google’s policies and the app’s restrictions and consent choices. We remove permission to access the Android Advertising ID and Android ad-services identifiers. Google states that SDK data is encrypted in transit. See Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and advertising information at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads .
Children and privacy choices
Children and users of unknown age are not shown personalized or remarketing ads. No ads are requested before the local age prompt is completed. Children receive restricted, G-rated banner advertising through Google’s Families-certified ads SDK, without full-screen rewarded ads. Adults also receive G-rated ads and are offered consent and privacy choices wherever Google’s consent platform requires them. Settings contains Ad privacy choices when this option is required. If advertising consent cannot be established, adult ad requests remain disabled. We do not ask children to create accounts or provide contact details.
Support correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use this to answer questions and address app issues. Please avoid sending unnecessary information about children. You may ask us to delete support correspondence, subject to records we need to retain for legitimate legal or operational purposes.
Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until you clear app storage, uninstall, or replace/restore it through device backup. We do not maintain remote puzzle accounts to delete. Google’s retention of advertising data is governed by its own policies and privacy controls. To ask about support data, email madeusefulstudio@gmail.com. You can also use your Android and Google account privacy controls. We do not sell your saved puzzle progress.
Policy changes
We may revise this policy when the app’s practices change. This page will show the updated date. For privacy questions or requests, email madeusefulstudio@gmail.com.
